Tito Puente Jr. visited us to invite us to his concert on October 14, The Mambo Harvest at The Hudson House Distillery in West Park, NY. In the midst of the Woodstock Film Festival, we were visited by Elisabeth Mohlmann, one of the directors of Mama Irene, Healer of the Andes, and Franz Zavala, director of photography. Tickets to see this documentary today are sold out, but Elisabeth told us that it will be available online in November.

Also, Eline Martinez told us about Bard College's Clemente Course in the humanities that gives free college credit. Classes are taught via zoom, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, from October 6 to January 26. The registration deadline is October 1. Applicants must be 16 years of age or older, highly motivated and committed. They must have the time and desire to attend classes regularly, complete assignments outside of class, and fully participate in the course for the entire three-month period. Los solicitantes deben tener 16 años de edad o más, estar altamente motivados y comprometidos.
