In his monthly column Libros para la gente, SUNY New Paltz literature professor Adolfo Bejar Lara discussed Sandra Cisneros's The House on Mango Street. This award-winning book that tells the story of an immigrant girl is the center of the NEA Big Read Hudson Valley, which takes place during the month of April and will be attended by Cisneros herself.
