Andrés Chamorro, Empowerment Coordinator for the Migrant Rural Ministry's Youth Art Group, invited young people from Ulster and Orange counties to an information session tomorrow to learn about the virtual and face-to-face program offered free of charge, with transportation included. Eve Moros Ortega spoke about the Engage workshops of the Kingston Master Planproject on arts and culture in the city of Kingston.  There are still two  virtual community workshops to attend, which will allow for an open debate on arts and culture throughout the city. Lord Cultural Resources will lead the discussions, along with members of the Project Advisory Committee and the Kingston Arts Commission. The Creative Business workshop will be on November 5, 12:30-2:00 pm; and the Kingston Community workshop will be on November 19, 5:30- 7:00 pm.

Musician Roberto Juan Rodríguez invited everyone to the Latino party at High Meadows School. There will be a series of workshops, one called The Carnival of the Animals - Make Masks and Puppets from the Giant Festival! The second series will be Teatro de Papel. Create your own Miniature Paper Toy Theater. Both series will be facilitated by acclaimed puppeteer Roberto Rossi of Great Small Works, and musician and teacher Roberto Rodríguez. Rosa María Castillo-Kesper explained why it is important to attend a meeting tonight so that Central Hudson does not increase the prices of its public services.
