This week in La Voz en Breve, journalist Mariel Fiori has a show on politics and health. She spoke with Peruvian journalist Iván Lajara, Editor-in-Chief of the Daily Freeman about the latest local political news, including insurrection, housing and vaccines.

The Colombian doctor who lives and works in the Hudson Valley, Lizette Castillo-Edge, has already received the vaccine against COVID-19 and spoke about her experience and the myths that must be unearthed in this regard. Puerto Rican professor Isar Godreau is one of the authors of The Anti-racist Guide for Hispanic Journalists in the United States and she explained the reasons for th Guide and some of the tips provided. This Thursday at 5 p.m. there will be the virtual launch of the Anti-racist Guide, produced by the CCEM of CUNY’s Craig Newmark school of journalism, where the authors will answer questions from the audience. Free admission, prior registration is required.

And journalist Amy Goodman believes that after inciting an insurrection against Congress, Trump should be removed immediately.

Este jueves a las 5 p.m. será el lanzamiento virtual de la Guía Antirracista, producida por el CCEM de la escuela de periodismo Craig Newmark de CUNY, donde sus autoras responderán preguntas de la audiencia. Y la periodista Amy Goodman opina que tras incitar la insurrección contra el Congreso, Trump debe ser destituido de inmediato.
