Danskammer comments, legal cannabis and the Arawakan culture

This week in La Voz en Breve, journalist Mariel Fiori has a show on education and family. She spoke with Aura López Zarate, a volunteer with the environmental organization Food & Water Watch, about the importance of participating in the period to comment on the controversial Danskammer fractured gas power plant.

Steve DeAngelo, the globally recognized cannabis leader dubbed “the father of the legal industry” by former California Assembly Speaker Willie Brown, who as an activist, author, educator, investor, and entrepreneur, has spent more than four decades On the front lines of the cannabis reform movement, today he talked about his struggle, the benefits of cannabis, the legalization of marijuana for recreational use in New York State, and its impact on immigrants.

In addition, Mariel met Professor Alfonso Peralta, anthropologist, political scientist, linguist, researcher, writer, musician, artist and director of the Center for Ancestral Knowledge of the Caribbean. Alfonso teaches Taíno studies through online master classes to recover our roots.
