LA Voz en Breve: Border School; Electric Cars; Pesticides

This week in La Voz en Breve, journalist Mariel Fiori has a show on education and family. When it comes to the right to education, there are no limits to where a school can operate. This is what Felicia Rangel-Samponaro and Víctor Cavazos believe, directors of Sidewalk School, a school for children on the sidewalk and rapid response organization for people who cross the border and who have stayed in semi-permanent camps like the one in Matamoros, Mexico. They told her about the situation on the border with President Biden, especially for Central Americans who are seeking asylum in the United States and how we can help those of us in New York to improve this situation.

Hugo Jule-Quintanilla, Project Engineer in the e-Mobility team of the New York State Power Authority, NYPA, and in the EVolve NY program, talked about all the economic incentives that are now available to buy electric vehicles, and install chargers for electric cars, to avoid polluting and save money.
There is good news for the environment! 
A federal court has banned the use of the pesticide that attacks child development. Alejandro Dávila from Earth Justice commented on the news and its scope.
