This week in La Voz en Breve, journalist Mariel Fiori broadcasts live from 1090 and 1082 Morton Boulevard, to learn more about the Hispanic-owned businesses that recently opened in Kingston: The Pink  Elephant Restaurant and Yari’s Boutique. She spoke with the Ecuadorian Juan González, co-owner, and with the Mexican Gregorio Angel, chef, about the delicious menu and the ingredients they use for the dishes of The Pink Elephant restaurant (in the photo the avocado toast with potatoes, salmon and egg, a powerful and healthy breakfast). Angel also spoke about his immigration story and how he celebrates the Day of the Dead with his family.
